Property visits over Easter 2018

20 March 2018

As every year, Lake Garda attracts many vacationers at Easter, who visit to enjoy the beautiful spring feeling in a mediterrean surrounding. Why not combine business with pleasure? This is the concept of many people who are interested in buying a property at Lake Garda. And also real estate agents are already expecting the first big wave of property visits this year.

But be aware: Appointments with brokers have to be arranged in advance, especially near-term appointment requests for Saturdays are often difficult to obtain. On Sundays many estate agents don’t offer property visits at all, although there are exceptions to the rule in matters of urgency. Also: During the Easter holidays (sunday and monday) usually a lot of real estate agencies are closed.

If you happen to have seen a property on Lake Garda, which you’d like to inspect, we recommend to plan your Easter holiday programme in advance, in order to avoid bad surprises and in order to be able to fully use your holiday time in the best possible way.

A real estate property of historical value has been recently put on sale in Tremosine: It is the building of the former hotel Morandi, in which the probably best-known Austrian artist, Gustav Klimt, resided in the year 1913, when he painted famous landscape paintings like Malcesine on Lake Garda, Church in Cassone or Italian garden landscape. Gustav Klimt has at the time been strongly inspired by the lush landscape surrounding Lake Garda.

Whoever is nowadays inspired to purchase the historical property, maybe to realise a B&B, has to consider the buying price of 490.000 euros. The old hotel needs to furthermore be renovated. It consists of about 500 square metres diveded into three levels.
