The beautiful city on the river Adige is not only a centre of attraction for tourists from all over the world. In 2000 it was declared world cultural heritage.
The city with some 265.000 inhabitants is also an important economic centre. An international airport, the main train station Porta Nuova with its fully developed railway network and the junction of important motorways ensure that Verona is easily accessible.
Next to a broad offer of schools and universities there is also an International School. Off the beaten track in the picturesque old town on can discover many small delicatessen, trattorias, bars, boutiques and shoe shops as well as banks, post offices and a lot more that is needed for everyday life – commodities which make a city worth living in. The apartments in the old town and along the Adige are much sought after, and so are the residential areas on the hills and around the old town.
