Not many people know this village with 4.490 inhabitants, although it is just a couple of kilometers from Salò. The houses are embedded between trees and vines and there are some spots where one has a magnificent view over Lake Garda and Salò.
The villages of Roè and Volciano are separated from the other neighbouring villages by a road and a small river. Other villages which form part of this borough are Agneto, Gazzane, Liano, Rucco, Tormini and Trobiolo.
Main source of income for most locals is agriculture, tourism plays a minor role. However, this is a typical Italian village, therefore everything that is needed for everyday life is provided.
